If you’re an incoming freshman or transfer student who is offered a scholarship for the fall, you can defer your scholarship as long as you do not attend another college, university, or community college during this deferment year. The time and energy you spend conducting a successful scholarship search can be well worth the effort if you are awarded a scholarship to help fund your higher education.
These scholarships are offered to Kansas freshmen who enroll for the semester immediately after completing high school. To renew the scholarship, you must complete 30 KU hours per year and earn a cumulative 3.25 KU GPA.
