Her chosen topic was World War II, focusing on the 3rd Marine Division in the Pacific War.She has taught in the program since 1998 and served as Director since 2007. This information is provided exclusively for the personal and academic use of students, instructors and other university personnel.An angled memorial wall acts as a transition space and unifies the two exhibit sections.Bohl shaped the inner space to reflect the rocky terrain on which the war’s battles were fought.Joyglenn will graduate from Wells College in May with a major in Visual Arts: Studio Art.Chris Price is a lifelong resident of Auburn, New York, where he received an Associate's Degree in Studio Art from Cayuga Community College.Joyglenn Lionel (Brooklyn, New York) is an interdisciplinary artist currently working with wood, paper, and installation to create architectural sculptures depicting what gentrification may look like if condensed into one moment.While at Wells, Joyglenn spent a semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy at Lorenzo de Medici, and studied widely through the liberal arts in fields such as Psychology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Political Science, Sustainability, and Creative Writing.While the heights of photos on the outer walls and titles on the inner panels are inherent wayfinding guides, Bohl also used angled walls, large photos, and the ascending height of the inner panels to guide visitors through the space.The Visual Arts program is pleased to announce the opening of a two-person exhibition by senior Wells students Joyglenn Lionel and Chris A. The show will be open to the public for a reception on May 3, 6-8 pm, and will remain on view by appointment until May 18.
