2017 – 2018 general expenses €1,229 for students living on campus and €819 for others. Courses are taught in a variety of approaches, including lectures, tutorials, laboratory work, independent study and projects.
As your professional skills mature, in 3rd year, you will choose either to write a research dissertation in applied geology or a work-study placement.
The first two years of the technology degree in Geology provide the grounding you need in pure and applied geology, technicians’ tools of the trade and interdisciplinary subjects (languages, computer science and methodology).
Following completion of this internship, students write and defend their final year dissertation.
If you chose the work-study option, you will continue in the same company for a five-month placement.
Students who take the work-study option are not required to write a dissertation in applied geology.
